Mugla Metropolitan Municipality continues to produce food for its friends with its Cat-Dog Food Production Facility, which has a business approval certificate from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. With its ISO and HACCP certificates, the Metropolitan Municipality Cat-Dog Food Production Facility, which is the third in Turkey and the only one in Muğla, has produced 20,217 kg of food with a market value of 6 million TL so far and distributed it to stray animals and animal friends in the temporary animal care center.

Since 2022, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has been continuously producing food for canine friends. The food, which is produced entirely with fresh chicken or fresh fish raw materials obtained from volunteer organizations at no cost, is distributed to canine friends living on the streets and is also sent to district municipalities that request it.

Formula with a Market Value of 6 Million TL Produced

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has produced 20,217 kg of food with the Cat-Dog Food Production Facility, which has been put into operation, providing a significant saving to the municipal budget and contributing to the healthy nutrition of the canine friends. Thanks to the facility, which has been producing food since 2022, the Metropolitan Municipality costs 14.78 TL per kilogram of food, which costs approximately 300 TL per kilogram, and provides a significant saving.
