Environmentally friendly production

Food waste is meticulously processed and controlled at the Formula Production Facility and then turned into nutritious dry food using composting technology. The dry food produced is vacuum-packed and packaged for longevity. This reduces environmental pollution and contributes to the nutritional needs of stray animals.

Annual savings of over 20 million TL

It is aimed to feed 2,500 street animals with the food produced in the Food Production Facility, which has a daily production capacity of 1 ton. With this targeted production, more than 20 million TL will be saved annually in feeding. Thus, both resources will be used efficiently and the nutritional needs of stray animals will be met in a sustainable manner.

Stray animals will be safely sheltered in the habitat

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the program, Mayor of Keçiören Municipality Dr. Mesut Özarslan stated that they are proud of this work they have done in order to improve the living conditions of stray animals and to ensure that they continue their lives in a healthy and safe environment and said, "We are taking an important step in order to respect both human rights and animal rights and to fulfill our responsibilities towards our environment and the society we live in the best way. With this project, we are happy to fulfill one of the 60 projects we promised. We will soon complete the 25-acre natural habitat where stray animals can live freely and in conditions closest to their natural environment."

After the opening ceremony, Mayor Özarslan showed the press members and participants around the natural habitat where sheltered street animal shelters will be located and explained the content of the project.

We realized one more of our 60 targeted projects

Hüseyin Gazi Çankaya, Head of Special Projects and Transformation Department of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, one of the architects of the Mama Production Facility project, said, "We are realizing one of the most important projects among the 60 projects we have targeted with our Mayor Mesut Özarslan. This valuable facility will be an example for other district municipalities and Ankara."
