Officials from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality visited Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Cat-Dog Food Production Facility and received information about the facility.

The Cat-Dog Food Production Facility, which was realized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, is the first of its kind in Muğla and the third in Turkey, and has a business approval certificate from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

On behalf of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor, Anet A.Ş. General Manager Rüştü Peker and Anet Veterinarian Tamer Yılmaz visited the food production facility. During the visit, Slaughterhouse Services Branch Manager Veterinarian Yusuf Dur and Facility Responsible Manager Specialist. Veterinarian Volkan Çubuk gave detailed information about food production and the technology used. They were also informed about the establishment of the facility, its production capacity, environmental contributions and future targets.

Formula with a Market Value of 8 Million TL Produced

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has become the third municipality in Turkey to receive a business approval certificate from Muğla Governorship Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry with its facility that has produced 25,638 kilograms of food so far. The Metropolitan Municipality has produced food with a market value of approximately 8 million TL with the Food Production Facility. The Metropolitan Municipality, which also has the most equipped Temporary Animal Care Center in Turkey, produces 25,638 kg of food, which is used for candosts and is a lifeline for the pawed friends living on the streets. The food is produced entirely from fresh chicken and fresh fish raw materials obtained through donations and given to candosts.
